  • 'Drift down' is the procedure to be applied: AFTER ENGINE FAILURE IF THE AEROPLANE IS ABOVE THE ONE ENGINE OUT MAXIMUM ALTITUDE
    ·
    "Maximum endurance": IS ACHIEVED IN UNACCELERATED LEVEL FLIGHT WITH MINIMUM FUEL FLOW
    ·"Stepped climbs" are used on long-distance flights: TO FLY A PROFILE AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE OPTIMUM ALTITUDE AS THE AEROPLANE MASS REDUCES
    ·A 'Balanced Field Length' is said to exist where: THE ACCELERATED STOP DISTANCE IS EQUAL TO THE TAKE OFF DISTANCE AVAILABLE
    ·A climb gradient required is 3,3%. For an aircraft maintaining 100 kt true airspeed , no wind, this climb gradient corresponds to a rate of climb of approximately: 330 FT/MIN
    ·A commercial flight is planned with a turbojet aeroplane to an aerodrome with a landing

Six 19.4 moles of ideal gas are in a cylinder fitted at one end with a movable piston. The initial gas temperature is 27.0 ° C and the pressure is constant. As part of a proposed machine design, calculate the final temperature of the gas once it has made 1.75x10 ³ J of work.
n = 6 moles isobaric process
T? = 27 ° C
P = CTE.
W = 1.75 * 10 ³ J
PV = nRT

W = P (-)

Pf = P: = P

W = (nRTf - nRT?)

W + nRT? = NRTf

Work done in a cyclic process. a) In Figure 19.8a, consider the closed loop 1 3 2 4 1. This is a cyclical process in which the initial and final states are the same. Calculate the total work done by the system in this process and show that equals the area enclosed by the cycle. b) What... Continuar leyendo "Physical Exercises" »

Marx and Nietzsche Comparison

Comparison: Both authors are considered as the philosophers of suspicion. Despite the great differences between them, the philosophies of Marx and Nietzsche show the shortcomings of the founding notion of subject, which had been the starting point on which modern philosophy had developed. Both have noted how the basis of the notion of conscience is hidden: key social, economic and ideological (Marx), a morality received and spawned from a grudge against life (Nietzsche). The notion loses its regulator. Marx is a materialist view, influenced by Hegel's dialectic: everything is matter. Its design is "historical materialism": the political and social changes occur from changes occurring in the material basis of society, modes of production. For
