PHYSICAL SCIENCE:-CHEMISTRY:the study of composition, structure and properties of substances(science that studies the composition structure and properties of matter).PHYSICS:the science that deals with matter,energy, motion and force. EARTH SCIENCE: the study of earth and its parts.
WHY IS CHEMISTRY DEFINED PHYSICAL SCIENCE: because they study what exists around the world, like the atoms and molecules and physical science study non-living things.
MASS:measure of amount of matter.MATTER:anything that haves mass and takes up space.ATOM:smallest unit of an element.ELEMENT:substances that cannot be separated/broken down into simpler substances(mades up atoms).COMPOUND:substance made up of atoms can be broken into smaller pieces.LIQUID:state of matter that has a definite volume but not a definite shape.GAS:state of matter that has definite volume or shape.PLASMA:state of matter with high temperature, which atoms lose most of their electrons.CHEMICAL PROPERTY:characteristics/behavior of a substance that can be observed when undergoing a chemical change/reaction.CHEMICAL CHANGE:change that occurs when one or more substances change into new ones.CHEMICAL REACTION:chemical change which form new substances.REACTANT:substance/molecule that participates in chemical reaction.PRODUCT:substance that forms in a chemical reaction.MIXTURE:combination of two or more substances that are not chemically combined.HOMOGENEOUS:solutions that mix together.
SOLUTION:homogeneous mixture of two or more substances.HETEROGENEOUS:like homogeneous but the difference is that they solutions don't mix together.PURE SUBSTANCE:always homogeneous fixed composition, element/compound.

HOW ARE ISOTOPES OF A PARTICULAR ELEMENT ALIKE AND HOW DIFFERENT? Different, because there number of neutrons are different
