Causes of inequality:ECONOMIC: countries with mineral deposits and energy resources were more likely to have been the first to develop industrially. As they accumulated wealth through the scale of manufactured goods,they were able to buy resources either bc their own became exhausted or bc they didn't posses them.They were able to provide jobs,improve transport systems,and develop new technologies as well as imposing trade restrictions on less developed countries.SOCIAL:The more a country develops the more money it has to spend on education, health and better-quality housing.POLITICAL:Countries were likely to develop more quickly if they had a government that was stable, invested the economy and avoided Civil War.ENVIRONMENTAL:Countries were also likely to develop more quickly if they were unaffected by severe natural hazards, diseases, and if they were able to provide a reliable supply of clean water.CONSEQUENCES OF INEQUALITY:
