PLASMA

Like gases plasma, Does not have a shape or volume and are less dense than solid or liquid. Plasma Is made up of atoms in witch some or all of the electrons have been stripped away And positely charged nuckei, called ions, roam freely

CHARACTERISTICS

·Plasma is made up of Electrically charged particles, strongly influenced by electric and magnetic Fields

·Plasma is considered a Distinct ´´forth state of matter´´

EXAMPLES

SUN       LIGHTING       STARS       NEON SIGNS       ELECTRIC ARCS

MATTER

Every thing we see Around is matter, matter is made up of molecules, matter comes into 3 main Types… solid, liquid and gas

BOSE Einstein CONDENSATE

(BEC) A state of Matter in wich separate atoms or subatomic particles, cooled to near absolute Zero. It only works if it is cooled

CHARACTERISTICS

·Behaves as one enity A superatom

·All atoms are Identical

·Atoms don’t have a Definite location

·Most atoms are in the Same quantium level or energy state

·Similar to lazel Light in some respects

EXAMPLE supercoded rb gas

CHARACTERISTICS

·Do not keep their Shape

·Will take the shape Of the conteine

·Will turn into gas When heated

·Will turn in to solid When cooled

·Molecules are loosly Packed

GAS

is a state of matter That has no fired shape and no fixed volume. Gases have It lower density than Other states. There is a greate deal of empty space between particles, wich Have a lot of kinetic energy

LIQUID

Is a nearly Incompressible fluid that confors the shape of the container but retains a Nearly constat volume independent of pressure. As such, it is the only state That has a definite volume but not fixed shape

CHARACTERISTICS

·Atoms are very apart

·Atoms move randomly

·They take shape of The container

·They can be Compressed and squeezed

·No shape and no Volume
