Utilitarianism: 

1. Determine the consequences of the various courses of action open to us. 
2. Specify the pleasure/pain associated w/ each alternative 
3. Perform the course of action that results in the greatest total amount of pleasure for the greatest amount of people where everyone counts the same. 
Kant: 
1. An action has moral worth if it is done for the sake of duty.
2. An action is morally correct if its maxim can be willed as a universal law.(Categorical imperative)
3.We should always treat humanity as ends.
