Strong assertion= Positive and negatives declaratives
weak assertion  = found in senteces with a weak or a modalised assertion

Epistemic:  assesment of truth, based on percepetual or intituive/ peggy must be sick- (the speaker has evidence)
evidential assertion: positive expresed by .... By means of adverbs, copular verbs, expresions i have been told
Deontic modality: Social interaction commads, obligations  --Authority expresed with modal . Imperative + must or may = deontic
Intrinsic modality:  involves the posibility of something to happen. I can play the guitar,  doors can be oppened.
dispostion modality: posibility and willingness I can plahy the guitar and i want to.

COmpeling and Enabling
Compelling: involves a compeling force- convince.  expresed  by M  must need and should SM- ought to, have to they comprise:a) Obligation:  You must hurry up
b)Intrinsic necesity:  ( have to)When registering you have to show your passport. c) Epistemic necesity : ( have to) the necisity to solve something... Only a man could have dragged the boddy in from the sea, the murtherer has to be a man d)neutral compeling modalities: (need to - will)  you need to upgrade your flash player.
e) weak compeling  modalities: (should -ought to) you shoul visit your mother

Enabiling: they comprise abilities, intrinsic posibilities, permision and epistemic posibilities.
a) ability- I can drive, b)Intrinsic posibilities-  i can drive you c) permision- you can take me home d) epistemic posibilitie- we may be leaving soon.
