Literary Text: a world of fiction.

Literature = fiction, imagination, creation

Literature: Entertain, Case Placer, taste. The author may from reality and create, reinvent it to make it different.

The Paratext: What is next to the text are: title, author, biography, editorial and publishing, other details of the book, counter top, the different images and so forth. All these data are the graphic elements. Allow forward some text data (infer), understand and make a previous reading. All have their Paratext: they may be indexes, prefaces, pictures, titles and subtitles.

Theme: the theme of a literary work is what the story shows the life of man. To identify the subject of a work of fiction can ask the question: which aspect, situations, circumstances of human life or town shows, complains, criticizes the author questioned by history. The answer to these questions will be the theme.

Metaphor: an idea consists in replacing by a different but similar in their meaning in the text. Using a metaphor gets a word or idea to acquire a different meaning.

In the few literary language presentation is different than in other types of texts, using certain brands or to beautify literary writing. In addition to the metaphors we find these figures:

Sensory images: they are all expressions that could dare to capture the senses:

- Visual image: is captured through the eye.

- Image listening: what is captured through sound.

- Image touch: what is perceived by touch.

- Olfactory image "roast goose was very tasty"

Technical description: its purpose is to provide information about an object.

Literary description: it expresses a subjective view, valuation, personal reality.

Hypertext: When a text appears within another. As the stories within a story.

Background: Refer to the circumstances in which an event occurs. Situation may be: (place and time), Socio cultural (social or cultural) or language.
