Russia:Tsar of the Romanov dynasty  Social discontent, autocratic and economic difference  Revolution of 1917: Suffereing of the population and enormous number of casualities. February revolution: Tsar Nicholas was deposed and a republic was stablished, they promised reforms, redestribution of land. The decision to to continue the was, new government was ended. October revolution: Radical Marxists, they deposed the bourgueois goverment and replaced it with a bolsheviks one. Lenin took russia out of the WW1. Under lenins government the USSR was formed. Stalin: Totalitarian regime and economy was reorganized 5 year plan. Roaring twenties: economic prosperity Usa first world superpower. Great depression: Banks went bankrupt industries closed farmers lost money because they couldent sell. Solution: Roosevelt implemented the New Deal. Architecture: Geometrical styles with minimal decorations. Sculpture: Subjects matters were no longer needed to be noble, iron and steel. Paintings: absurd, Dadanism: Everyday objects, destruction of art Abstract movement.  Tema 10: End of communism in 1991.
